The challenge
Become part of operational risk controlling with a focus on Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). Together with the operational business units in the German sales business, we ensure the quality of the valuable processes, systems and data and coordinate enterprise risk management in the German sales business. A varied area of responsibility with a future awaits you. • As a risk manager, you will lead the process of regularly updating the opportunities and risks for the company, including its subsidiaries, as well as with the regional companies in the German sales business of the Group.
• You develop strategies, methods, structures and processes to better identify, evaluate and control corporate risks. You will be in close contact with the risk managers in the departments and companies.
• You will advise, support and question the operational risk managers with regard to risk identification, risk assessment, countermeasures and risk reporting. Controlling is your key contact to ensure risk/opportunity information is consistently captured in MTP planning, forecasting, budgeting and performance reporting for quarterly unit business dialogues and annual budget meetings.
• You will also work with the Group Risk Management to enable successful management of risks and opportunities.
• You ensure risk reporting on the consolidated and aggregated risk profile to the risk committee and management. You report to Group Risk Management using the group-wide IT reporting system for risk management.

A background that convinces
• Successfully completed economic, mathematical-scientific or technical degree or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience and in-depth knowledge of the German energy market, especially in the sales area
• A basic affinity to IT and data systems and their interfaces
• An analytical way of thinking combined with a quick grasp, especially in relation to the analysis of complex processes and systems
• A high degree of teamwork, flexibility and communication skills, coupled with a confident demeanor
• The ability to act responsibly, independently and entrepreneurially
• High personal commitment and resilience
• Confident German and English skills, both written and spoken
