Need a Snr Data Protection Expert offered Perm Career role, Hybrid work in Essen HQ €110K + Benefits. You will Advise departments on Business / legal / Operational: data protection / data management & digitization issues.

Candidates must have
• University degree with a legal focus
• High IT affinity
• Sound knowledge of data protection law

Responsibilities:
• For further digital development of relevant data protection tools and corresponding data protection documents (e.g. templates, recommendations for action, guidelines, guidelines) with Group-wide relevance.
(project) coordination with a group-wide perspective for the implementation and further development of the data protection management system.
• Carry out data protection risk assessments and data protection impact assessments,
• Documentation in Prime on overarching or group-wide business issues, processes and IT systems, and advise on these topics.
• Be the direct contact person and coordinator for parts of the national and international data protection organization.
• Communicate with external stakeholders (e.g. supervisory authorities).
Required skills
• Degree - technical university studies, preferably with a focus on law.
• Solid knowledge of IT-technical connections and processes, ideally consolidated through practice and/or further training.
• Data protection requirements – Digitalization - Provide solution, practice-oriented advice and are ambitious to further advance digitization in this area.
• Worked in Group Compliance.
• Use of appropriate project tools.
• Strong user of Microsoft Office applications.
