Business Area Digital Enabler - data-centric solutions for our customers in various industries. Our team covers the entire project life cycle, starting with architecture consulting, data engineering and data analytics, right through to data science topics and operations (DevOps). We work together with the customer in agile process models (mainly Scrum).

We use the full range of data sources, from "classic IT" to IOT to social media - our solutions are the memory and brain of digitization at the same time. State-of-the-art open source technologies are used (mostly based on Hadoop). In addition to on-premise building blocks, we are increasingly working with cloud-based technologies and integrating the latter into hybrid architectures. Our goal: to make our customers' digitization strategies a success.

Duties:
As Senior IT Architect you will be responsible for the overall architecture of very large and complex software development projects and thus make your contribution to the overall success of the project from a technical point of view.

You act as a trusted advisor and partner to our customers - also on a strategic level - and in particular with a focus on:

• The technology portfolio
• Possible solutions for complex business opportunities
• The future of certain legacy solutions
• The expertise for special technologies that ensures our ability to deliver
• Travel share: 50-75%

Candidates must have
• Expertise in different architectural styles
• at least 1 cloud ecosystem
• IMPORTANT: NO infrastructure or telco focus -> would not fit!
• At least 3 - 6 years of experience as a software architect (we have one position in the tariff and one in the AT area)

Skills needed
• At least 6 years of experience as a software architect for the creation of complex software concepts and architectures in agile projects
• Profound experience in creating technical roadmaps for the target architecture considering all resource aspects
• Good overview of all core concepts of enterprise architecture, such as business architecture (including business and IT strategy, capability models and BP models/architectures)
• Expertise in different architectural styles such as microservices, cloud native applications, "classic" enterprise/platform-based architectures and small app solutions
• Practical knowledge of at least one cloud ecosystem (OTC, Azure, Google or AWS)
• In-depth knowledge of one of the following topics is a plus: AI, Blockchain, IoT, Big Data, Mixed Reality (VR/AR, Computer Vision)
• Flexibility and strong communication skills
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills up to C-level
