Role Purpose:
For the further expansion plan of the company we are looking for a new Project Leader M&A to contribute to the achievement of the growth and profitability targets through the delivery of value creating M&A transactions in line with the company’s strategy.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and project lead the overall assessment of potential M&A opportunities (e.g. attractiveness, strategic fit, portfolio review, valuation, due diligence, key issues having a material impact on price and structuring) with the proactive and timely involvement of all relevant company stakeholders and functions
• Supervise the development of robust business cases and financial models as well as assess the value creation potential of acquisition, divestiture, alliance proposals
• Play key role in leading project team consisting of 10–50 individuals plus external advisers
• Define M&A priorities and “game plans” to support implementation of strategies
• Coordinate and manage deal execution including due diligence
• Initial planning of post-merger integration
• Lead negotiation and deal structuring
• Demonstrate good business judgment with an ability to challenge plans and assumptions and take an independent stance when necessary
• Develop and coach team resources in the context of the transaction projects led
• Ensure team adherence to regulations, corporate governance, corporate policies (including filing, handover); ensure implementation of adequate checks and balances during deal execution process
• Ensure knowledge sharing and transfer across the team and the firm

Candidates must have
• 7-10 years of experience in investment banking M&A as a VP or Director or within big4 M&A
• Hands on M&A execution experience having demonstrated the ability to lead mid to large-scale transaction
• Strong modelling capabilities and financial acumen
• Ability to handle pressure and remain cool headed

Required skills Requirements:
• University degree and an MBA is an advantage
• 7-10 years of experience in investment banking M&A as a VP or Director or within big4 M&A
• Hands on M&A execution experience having demonstrated the ability to lead mid to large-scale
transaction
• Ability to manage, engage and influence various stakeholders across different functions, roles and
location
• Strong modelling capabilities and financial acumen
• People-, change- and strong communication management skills
• Enabling decision making and effective communication under time and environmental pressures
• Ability to handle pressure and remain cool headed
• Ability to influence and aggregate support
• Fluent in English any other language would be a plus
