A Transport logistics manager needed to verse 80+ Staff / 70+ fleet responsible for All areas of a distribution logistics fleet and all parts to ensure successful supply chain from managing staff to Maintenance schedules Based HQ in Lead Bern / Basel Region.

This permanent Career role needs a experienced manager of logistics fleet Min of 50+ vehicles proven staff management and responsibility for a very busy supply depot.
• Responsible for the transport logistics department. This includes a fleet of 60 vehicles and a team of around 80 employees at 2 x distribution centres in the cantons of Zurich and Valais.
• You plan and optimize the Switzerland-wide delivery over a period of seven days. personnel planning of the department.
• responsible for fleet management - damage management, repairs, cleaning, maintenance and service for the entire vehicle fleet.
• member of KOPAS (contact person for occupational safety), you ensure that the employees assigned to you comply with the instructions regarding occupational safety.

Your profile:
• Good commercial, logistical experience in transport industry.
• Managed logistics team.
• You will have 80+ employees
• Good communication in busy situations.
• Solid PC Skills.
• Fluent German and French are required.
